5.3 Using the Operator Panel

Press the Cursor switch to move the underlined cursor to 0.
If the Cursor switch remains pressed down when the underline cursor reaches the
rightmost position, the underline cursor jumps to the leftmost position.

Press the Decision switch.
The System Operation menu is displayed on the first line of the status display (LCD).
The currently selected operation is indicated by a solid square to its left.

Select the system reset, OS dump, or partition startup command.

Press the Cursor switch to move the solid square indication (

) to RST.
Pressing the Cursor switch moves (
<
) to REQ, RST, and UP, in this order.
Continuing to press the Cursor switch cancels this operation, and the LCD
display returns to the state of the procedure 3.

Press the Decision switch.
The confirmation message “RESET OK?” is displayed.

To perform a reset, press the Decision switch again. To cancel this operation,
press the Cursor switch instead of the Decision switch, and the LCD display
then returns to the state of the procedure 3.
