The “Dynamic Reconfiguration Architecture Guide” is supplied with the system
console software, and the “Dynamic Reconfiguration User's Guide” is supplied with
the Enhanced Support Facility.

System Disk
An operating system is installed on the system disk. The OS can not be shared among
multiple partitions. Each partition must have its own system disk.
6.7
File Unit Sharing
To establish file unit sharing between partitions, configure connections as follows:

For best performance and ease of installation and maintenance, it is recommended
that you use the sharing file connection that interfaces the FC hub/switch.
l
For management of the shared file units, use one of Fujitsu/Fujitsu Siemens
Computers high-reliability software products, such as PRIMECLUSTER.
