Conventions for Alert Messages
This manual uses the following conventions to show the alert messages. An alert
message consists of an alert signal and alert statements.
Alert messages in the text
In the text, the alert messages are indented to distinguish them from regular text. A
wider space precedes and follows the message to show where the message begins and
ends.

Reader Feedback
This indicates a hazardous situation
could

in serious personal
injury
if the user does not perform the procedure correctly.
This indicates a hazardous situation
could
result
in minor or
moderate
personal injury
if the user does not perform the procedure
correctly. This signal also indicates that damage to the product or
other property
may
occur if the user does not perform the procedure
correctly.
This indicates information that could help the user to use the
product more effectively.
This indicates the tasks which are performed by the certified service
engineer.
Electric shock, fire
Do not damage, break, or modify the power cables. Cable damage may cause
electric shock or fire.
