Setting the SNMP agent
The following explains how to set the SNMP agent required for communication with the
SNMP manager.
1)
Click the [SNMP] button displayed under [Setup]. The following window will be
displayed.
If the SNMP agent is already set, its values are displayed.

Explanation
Community
Up to five communities set by the SNMP manager can be
registered. Though up to 64 characters can be entered in
each text area, only one community can be set in one text
area. Characters that can be entered are en-size
alphanumeric characters and en-size symbols
(!"#$%&'()*+'-./:;<=>?@[\]^_`{|}). To remove a setup
community already set, delete the relevant community.
Trap Destination IP
Address
Traps will be sent to the IP address specified here. Only
en-size numeric characters ranging from 0 to 255 can be
entered in each text area of this item.
Enable Send Trap
If checked, Traps will be sent to the IP address specified
