4.9 

Inserting/Ejecting a Cleaning Cartridge

This section explains how to insert and eject a cleaning cartridge.

Remarks:

A cleaning cartridge can be used only a limited number of times.  If a
cleaning cartridge in the cleaning cell has reached its use limit, the
cleaning cartridge can no longer be used and the Exchange Clean
Tape icon lights in the icon area of the operator panel.  If this icon is
lit, eject the cleaning cartridge, which is now unusable, and replace it
with a new cleaning cartridge.

4.9.1 

Inserting a cleaning cartridge

A cleaning cartridge is inserted into the cleaning cell.

Remarks:

This operation can be performed only if there is an available cleaning
cell.

Select the [Clean] button from the OPERATION menu.
