The following step by step instructions can be used to verify or to plug the cables:
a. The SAS port of
CE CM#0
must be connected to the
SAS IN port of DE-1 IOM#0
.
b. Only if there are more than just one DE:
The
IOM#0 SAS OUT port of DE-1
must be connected to the
IOM#0 SAS IN port
of DE-2
. If there are further DE’s they must be connected in the same way.
The
IOM#0 OUT port of the always last DE remains unused
.
c. The SAS port of
CE CM#1
must be connected to the
IOM#1 SAS IN port of the
always last DE
d. Only if there are more than just one DE:
The
IOM#1 SAS OUT port of the last DE
must be connected to the
IOM#1 SAS
IN port of the predecessor DE
. If there are further DE’s each IOM#1 must be
connected in the same way.
The
IOM#1 OUT port of DE-1 remains unused
