drive. The device is not ready.” warning appears.

When the USB cable is disconnected, a “Device eject alarm” appears.
Before disconnecting the USB cable, click
the “Unplug or Eject Hardware” icon on the
task bar and disconnect the printer.
When the USB cable was disconnected by
the incorrect method, Windows may be
faulty. Reboot Windows.
Was the USB cable disconnected by the
correct disconnection method (Windows
Me/2000 Professional/XP)?

FinePixViewer does not recognize the memory card.
Turn the printer power on.
Is the printer power turned on?
Check if one end of the USB cable is
connected to the printer and the other end is
connected to the PC.
Are the printer and PC connected by a USB
cable?

P.80).
Is the “CONNECTED TO PC IN CARD

I want to print from an application other than FinePixViewer.
The printer driver can print from various applications.
Select “File”
→
”Print” from the menu. The dialog box that appears varies depending on the
application. The items to be set and the printed result are also different. For more
information, refer to the application manual.
