Releasing undo files
You can release all undo files of the currently
selected file to keep more recording space of
the disc.
You can release undo files by file.
1. Select the first level of the "Release Undo File?" menu,
and press the [ENTER/YES] key.
The following warning message scrolls horizontally,
while the remaining space value is shown.
2. Press the [ENTER/YES] key again.

Release Undo File
" appears momentarily followed by
"
Completed!
", showing that all the undo files have been
released.

3. Press the [EXIT/NO] or [STOP] key to exit the Utility
mode.
The display returns to the previous screen before
entering the Utility mode.
This menu selects On or Off of the resume func-
tion.
If it is set to On, the file that was selected when
turning off the power last time is selected when
starting up the unit.
This menu is global and maintained after you
turn off the power.
1. Select the first level of the "Resume?" menu, and press
the [ENTER/YES] key.
The current option (On or Off) flashes. You can now
select the desired one.

2. Use the jog dial to select On or Off and press the
[ENTER/YES] key.
The setting is completed and the display returns to show
the first level.
3. Press the [EXIT/NO] or [STOP] key to exit the Utility
mode.
The file that was selected when turn-
ing off the power last time is selected
when turning on the unit.

You can also use the
[SKIP/CURSOR] |<</>>|
keys to
select an option, instead of the jog dial.

When turning on the power, if the setting of the
[AUDIO FILE]
,
[TR MODE]
or
[SAMPLING FREQ]
switch does not match the selected audio file, the
currently selected option flashes in the "FORMAT",
"BIT" or "FS" section on the display.
In such a case, set the corresponding switch to
the appropriate position.
