Remove Display Components from the Display Panel Shell
To remove the display components from the display-panel shell, see Figure 30:
1. Shut off supply pressure and vent the system.
2. Remove all pressure lines and fittings from the manifold.
3. Remove the front-panel assembly as explained in the
Front Panel and
Display Assembly
section.
4. Use a T10 Torx to remove the six screws that hold the panel shell to the front
panel.
5. As you separate the display panel shell from the front panel, disconnect the
keyboard cable.
6. Use a #1 Phillips screwdriver to remove the eight M3 x 6 FH screws
that
hold the display assembly to the front-panel shell (two on top, two on the end,
two on the back, two on the bottom).
7. Remove the cable from the touch-screen driver PCB
.
8. Remove the cable
from J1 of the display CPU.
9. Remove the cable
from J2 of the display CPU.
10. Use a #2 Phillips screwdriver to remove the four M3 x 10 screws
that
secure the touch-screen driver PCB
.
11. Pull up the black clip that secures the two ribbon cables
on the connectors
of the touch-screen driver PCB and remove the ribbon cables from the
connectors.
12. Use a #2 Phillips screwdriver to remove the seven M3 x 6 screws
that
secure the display CPU
.
13. Remove the display CPU and guide the ribbon cable
through the slot.
