Setting the oil pressure switch:
From the ’Tracking Setup’ sub-menu, use the arrow keys to
navigate to ‘Oil Pressure Switch’.
Press the
ENTER key to select. The ‘Oil Pressure Switch’
screen displays.
Using the arrow keys, navigate to the oil pressure switch mode
required.
Select
Analogue Normally Hi
if the oil pressure sensor is
connected to the DZM’s analogue input, and the analogue
sensor receives a high voltage when the engine is operating
Select
Analogue Normally Low
if the oil pressure sensor is
connected to the DZM’s analogue input, and the analogue
sensor receives a low voltage when the engine is operating
Select
Normally Closed
if the oil pressure switch is
connected to one of the DZM’s digital inputs and is closed
when the helicopter is in flight.
Select
Normally Open
if the oil pressure switch is open when
the helicopter is in flight. This is the most common
configuration of an oil pressure switch.
Select
Not Installed
if the DZM oil pressure switch hardware
is not connected to the physical switch in the aircraft.
The bottom line of the 'Oil Pressure Switch' screen
enables you to check that the oil pressure switch mode is
configured correctly - the "Check..." message enables you
to check that the setting is correct.
Press the
ENTER key to save.
