From the 'Main Screen', press the
AFF key. A message is
immediately sent to the receiving server.

NOTE!
It is essential to register the AFF end point at
termination of flight mission, or an emergency alert will be
raised and acted upon when the DZM is powered down (i.e.
when the aircraft is switched off). If the bottom line of the
display continues to show

, it is recommended that you make a
radio or phone call to the appropriate personnel to advise
completion of your mission.
NOTE!
If AFF is not terminated after the aircraft has landed, a
reminder beep sounds over the ICS every 10 seconds. If the
aircraft takes off again, this beep stops.
