Disposal
Contamination hazard
The low temperature incubator may have been used for treating and
processing infectious substances, which may have caused
contamination of the low temperature incubator and its components.
Prior to disposal, it is therefore mandatory that all low temperature
incubator components be properly decontaminated.
Clean the low temperature incubator components thoroughly, then
disinfect or decontaminate them (depending on application).
Attach a declaration of decontamination with details on
decontamination activities performed to the items that are to be
disposed of.
