Replacing the Power Cord
If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by an original spare part. Using a standard
power cord with a lower thermal withstand capabilities is prohibited.
Returns for Repair
Prior to returning any materials, please contact our Customer Service Department for a
“Return Materials Authorization” number (RMA).
Material returned without an RMA number will be refused.
Contamination hazard
The low temperature incubator may have been used for treating and
processing infectious substances, which may have caused
contamination of the low temperature incubator and its components.
Prior to return shipment, it is therefore mandatory that all low
temperature incubator components be properly decontaminated..
• Clean the low temperature incubator components thoroughly, then
disinfect or decontaminate them (depending on application).
• Fill in and attach a safety declaration with details on
decontamination activities performed to the items that are to be
repaired.
