Preparing the usable space
Upon delivery, Fisher Scientific low temperature incubators are not in a sterile state. Before the
initial start-up, the low temperature incubator must be decontaminated.
The following work space components should be checked for cleanliness and disinfected prior
to use:
• Support rails,
• Shelf support,
• Perforated shelves,
• Usable space surfaces,
• Work space seals and gaskets,
• Glass door
