“Emergency” In any case of danger the operator must press immediately one
of all emergency push-buttons available on the line. The pro-
gram execution is instantly stopped, all auxiliary circuits are
switched OFF and all tools stay in the current position. The line
is in emergency condition.
Procedure to restart the line after emergency
Restart the line after emergency is a simple but tricky operation during which the operator must be careful
to save the tools from collisions, splits and so on.
The most right sequence of operations to restart the line depends on the situation of it at the emergency
moment; here below, as general guide, a possible sequence of actions to perform for line restoring.
1) carefully remove the danger reason or solve the problem which caused the emergency
2) unlock the emergency push-button(s)
3) press the blue push-button near the main electric switch; after the operator has pressed this push
button the inside blue lamp switches OFF
4) reset the alarm for interruption of optical barrier (if provided)
5) restart auxiliary circuits (oil pump, etc…)
6) select manual mode
7) if the blade of the saw and/or the drilling tool are inside the material but free to move (not blocked)
the operator can press the “Stop Cycle” push-button to automatically move the tools far from mate-
rial; but if a tool seems blocked inside the material, it could be better open the “Jog” window, select
little incremental displacements and try to manually release the tool by pressing “+” and “-“ push-
buttons on the main push-button panel
8) when all tools are free to move outside the material, select automatic step by step cycle
9) press “Start” push-button verifying if normal execution resume
10) if normal operations have been resumed without problems switch over automatic continuous cycle
Procedure to restart the line after unexpected power shut off
In case of power shut off while the machine is working the actions to perform are essentially the same
seen before but there is an extra-problem: the CNC loses the position of the axes.
Thus the operator must perform manual movements of the axes very carefully because all software limit
switches are disabled and, more, he must perform a zero cycle before to restart the normal execution.
