Tab “Analogue”
In this tab many fields to display the value of analog channels.
Tab “Cycles”
List of all available test programs (called “cycles”); all cycles are edited and inserted into the machine by
FICEP.
Tab “Configuration”
Some technical information on the machine (software release, internal relays configuration, IP address for
teleservice, etc…)
The most helpful commands are:
Push-button “Time”:
call for Windows date-time application; to adjust the system clock.
Push-button “Teleassist”:
starts the connection with FICEP “SAT” (After Sales Service) for remote
diagnostics. To get access to this service the line must be connected to
the factory LAN by cable or wireless.
Push-button “Alarm”:
sets the alarm window in foreground position
Push-button “Times zero setting”: all system time counters are cleared (see page n. 100)
Dropdown menu “Language”:
to change the system language among those fixed by contract
Tab “Info I/O”
In this tab an overview of all devices connected via
CAN
bus (
CAN
means

etwork) and
their condition.
The tab is in table format and each row is a CAN device; for each device following information are availa-
ble:
ID:
logic address of the device on CAN bus
LINE:
number of CAN line on which the device is connected
TYPE: clearly type of device
STATE: condition of device (activated, deactivated, etc…)
ALL:
alarm (if preset)

CDI 20 OPER. OK
Meaning: electronic card to manage twenty digital inputs (TYPE=CDI 20), CAN address “6” (ID=6), con-
nected on CAN line n. 2 (LINE=L2), operating condition OK (STATE=OPER.), no active alarm (ALL=OK).
If a device is operating, all its fields are green; in case of error the related fields are in red colour with short
message.

Meaning: electronic board to manage twenty digital inputs addressed “6” non present; CAN line interrup-
tion possible.
In the tab five push-buttons are present too:
(F2) Download: to parameterize the drivers of the motors; only for FICEP technicians
(F3) Chg ID: utility to reconfigure the CAN bus; only for FICEP technicians
(F5) Debug:
propriety of each CAN device
(F8) Resync: restart of CAN bus; to try in case of communication problems on the bus
Reset time:
reset of all monitored PLC cycle time (unit ms); only for FICEP technicians
Tab “Plc” – only for FICEP technicians
Information on running of internal PLC; in this page the push-button “Reset time” is duplicated.
