8. Click [File]
→
[Tag Import].
9. The [Open] dialog is displayed.
Select the CSV file saved in step 6. In the [Files of type] field, select [Siemens S7-200 File (*.csv)].
Click [Open].
10. The data in the CSV file are reflected throughout the [Tag Database Edit] window.
Data under [Type] is shown for the individual addresses.
Notes
The following are the notes on CSV file import.
• IDs that are already with tags are overwritten with the imported data.
• A maximum of 32 characters can be used for a comment. Even if a comment contains 33 or more
characters, only 32 characters can be registered with the comment.
• Memory addresses unavailable with the V8 cannot be imported. If such a memory address is
included, the row is displayed as a blank space. (For more information on memory addresses
available with the V8, refer to the V8 Series Connection Manual.) Note that double-word
addresses are imported as one-word addresses.
