8.7.2.4 Tensioning the generator V-belt
Protective equip-
ment:
n Working clothes
n Protective gloves
1. Slightly loosen the fastening screw on the
belt tensioner.
2. Tension the V-belt with the tensioning
device, until the correct tension is reached.
3. Tighten the fastening screw again.
8.7.2.5 Tensioning the air conditioning compressor V-belt
1. Slightly slacken the fastening screws (1, 2).
2. Loosen the tensioning nuts (3) and tension
the V-belt with the tensioning device (4),
until the correct tension is reached.
3. Retighten tensioning nuts (3) and fastening
screws (1, 2).
8.7.3 Checking the oil level in the drive axle
