Scan Engines
Scan engines can be
enabled
or
disabled
. If
you want to disable the scanning just for
certain files, enter the appropriate file
extensions to
Excluded extensions
field and
separate each extension with a space. The
Excluded extensions
field supports
*
and
?
wildcards.
Scan Inside Archives
Specify whether files inside compressed
archive files should be scanned for viruses, if
they are not excluded from scanning.
Scanning inside archives takes time.
Disabling scanning inside archives improves
performance, but it also means that the
network users need to use up-to-date virus
protection on their workstations.
