Command Line Interface
list host
Lists all the available hosts
Description The list host command lists all the available hosts. The WWPN, its
alias, (if it was added by the user) and connection status of each host
are displayed. If no host alias is initially added to a host, the output
displays the alias as null.
Syntax syscli --list host
Output
host count = 1
host = 1
wwpn = 220100e08ba8338d
alias = null
connection status = active
add host
Adds a host to the available host list
Description The add host command adds a host to the available host list. You
must specify the host’s world wide port name (WWPN). If the host
already exists in that list of available hosts, adding the same host will
result in an error. You can add an optional host alias.
Syntax syscli --add host –wwpn <host’s world wide port name> --alias <host
alias>
edit host
Adds or changes the host alias of a host
Description The edit host command lets you add or change the host alias of a
host. You must specify the host’s WWPN.
Syntax syscli --edit host --wwpn <host’s world wide port name> --alias <host
alias>
