Viewing the replication status of a virtual tape library
The Source Role VTL page displays the available virtual tape
libraries that have de-duplication enabled. The page also displays the
current replication status for the virtual tape library and information
on the most recent replication. You can also use the Source Role VTL
page to select and configure virtual tape libraries for replication.
Replication Status

State : Displays the following states:
• In Progress - the replication job is in progress.
• Partial - the replication job was partially completed. Refer to
the log file to view the files that were not replicated.
• Success - the replication job was completed successfully.
• Failure - the replication job was not completed.

Schedule : Displays the day and time when a namespace
replication is scheduled to run.

Sync ID : Displays the Sync ID of the virtual tape library if it is
enabled for cartridge-based replication.
The Information button is displayed during a replication in progress
or for a replication that has completed. The Information page
displays the amount of data transferred as well as the average
MB/sec for a replication job.

To check the status of the virtual tape library before replicating
the namespace, click Check Readiness.
A window displays the status of the virtual tape library. If any
tape cartridges are being used or de-duplicated, they will be
displayed in the window. These files will be skipped if a
checkpoint replication is initiated.

To manually run namespace replication, select the VTL and click
Replicate/Abort
. The namespace replication process begins. The
status of the current replication displays in the Status area.
CAUTION
!
If a node fails during a replication job, the replication job must
be restarted.

To abort a namespace replication in progress, select the VTL and
click Replicate/Abort.
