Chapter 43.

SFP Transceivers Replacement

SFP transceivers can be installed when the terminal is turned on or off. The

front panel has pairs of slots: even slots in the upper line, odd slots at the
bottom. SFP transceivers are symmetrically installed for each pair of slots.

Step 1.

Insert an SFP transceiver into a slot with its open side down (open

side up for the bottom line of slots).

Step 2.

Press the module until it clicks into place.

To remove a transceiver, perform the following actions:
