In the Share Name box type a name for the printer.

You’ll use this name and the PC’s name to identify the printer.

If you want to, in the Comment box type a location or other
description.

This will help others locate and identify your printer.

If you want to limit the use of your printer to only a certain
group of people, in the Password box type a password.

Choose the OK button.

An outstretched hand is added to the bottom of the printer’s icon
to indicate that the printer can be shared.

This section explains how to configure the QMS magicolor WX

printer driver in Windows NT 4.0 for sharing. The previous section
explains how to configure the QMS magicolor WX printer driver in
Windows 95 for sharing.

Note:

Printer sharing can only be used with attached PCs that are

running either Windows 95 or Windows NT 4.0.

If your Windows NT 4.0 printer driver was not configured for sharing
when originally installed, then to add sharing, use the following
instructions:

From the Windows NT Start menu choose Settings. Then
choose Printers.

In the Printers window, select QMS

magicolor WX.

From the File menu, choose Properties.

From the Properties dialog box, choose the Sharing tab.

After the Sharing tab displays, select Shared.
