Other replaceable parts are needle and O-ring in degassing/purging valve. This exchange is
not recorded by the device.
Caution:
Before and after parts replacement, print and file Info sheet from Ecomac or
from Clarity.
Caution:
New parts should be rinsed in isopropanol or methanol before replacement.
Eventually clean them in ultrasound.
Caution:
Regularly reset the counters (see
) after parts replacement. Information
in the counter are very important for future unit service.
6.7.1.1. Seals
Caution:
Pump piston is made of fragile material. Improper manipulation may cause
irreversible harm or piston fracture!
Disconnect the unit from power
source!!!
Disconnect inlet tubing.
Dismount connecting capillary
between working left working and
right auxiliary pump head using a
wrench 1/4".
Take out connecting capillary.
To exchange seal in (left)
working head
unscrew two screws
using screwdriver TX20 from unit
accessories.
Pull the head straightly out of the
piston.
Leaning the head to sides may
cause piston damage!

Remove the seal using a tool from
unit accessories. Rinse and clean
the piston and interior of the head
with isopropanol. Wet the new seal
in isopropanol, place on the tool
and insert it in the head. The spring
leads into the head slot.
