2.11 Wiring in accordance with EMC requirements
Undesired faults can occur on the field bus due to electromagnetic interfer-
ence. This can be minimized beforehand by the implementation of suitable
EMC measures. These include:
•
EMC-conformant system configuration,
•
EMC compliant cable routing,
•
Measures designed to reduce potential differences
•
the correct installation of the field bus system
(cable, connection of the bus connectors, etc.),
•
Using shielding
