Chapter 6 The Graphical User Interface

Agility System

Operator’s Manual

The buttons on the left side of the

Welcome

screen access various parts of the application

program and will change as various screens are accessed. The button corresponding to the
window that is presently open is indicated in a pale shade while other buttons are indicated in
a darker shade. As described below, the buttons on the left side of the screen will be different
on the different screens in the application program.

Dashboard

- used to present information about the system status. The

Instrument Dashboard is described in Section 6.4.

SmartKit Tools

- accesses a screen that allows the user to open programs that

relate to the use and maintenance of SmartKits.

File Management

- accesses a screen for File Management (e.g. entering a

new assay).

LIS-Link Reset –

resets LIS-Link transmission parameters.

The buttons on the bottom of the

Welcome

screen are present on all screens and access

various screens relating to operation of the system

- Accesses the

On-line help

file which presents specific information about the

present screen.

- Presents the

Abort

screen (Section 6.9)

- Accesses the

Dashboard

screen (Section 6.4), which is used to present

information about the system status.
