5.13.3 Testing the sewing motor
To test the sewing motor:
1. In the menu item
Extras
>
Service
>
Multitest (Multi
test) press the Nähmotor testen (Test sewing
motor)
option.

The sewing motor test screen is displayed:

Important
Remove the thread from the needle and the thread lever before starting
the test.
2. Press the button.

The window for entering the speed opens.
Go to position
Adjust the sewing foot height
Switch off the power to the drives
Manually check the freedom of motion of the sewing foot rod
Symbol Meaning
WARNING
Risk of injury from sharp and moving parts!
Puncture or crushing possible.
Do not reach into the machine during the function
test of the motor.
