Weld Geometry Programming
Weld geometry can be easily pre-programmed for any weld configurations.
Weld configurations are stored in the text file in the D1000\lang\weld\weld_def.txt
folder in separate sections in the following format (an example):

WELD 4 of 4
. . .
•
All weld configurations shall be contained in sections, abbreviated with names in
square brackets – [Weld configuration name].
•
Number of weld configurations is virtually unlimited.
•
Each weld configuration consists of straight line segments (up to 50):
-
each segment shall be set as co-ordinates related to the weld thickness and
weld axis – X1 Y1 X2 Y2, X’1 Y’1 X’2 Y’2 …;
-
all values shall be separated by spaces or tabs or semicolons (;);
-
each segment shall be definer in one line – X1 Y1 X2 Y2;
-
co-ordinates are as follows:
-
X=0 is in the middle of the screen, negative values are to the left, positive
values are to the right from the middle;
-
Y=0 is on the top, Y=1 is on the bottom on the 1*T
material
line.
•
All co-ordinates are related to the weld thickness T (T = 1) and shall be expressed
as numbers with decimal point.
•
Lines with a space at the beginning are ignored.
•
Notes shall be separated by #.
