2-4 VAX 4000 Model 108 User Information
If you wish to use your VAX 4000 Model 108 system in its desktop configuration, you
must first remove the front door.
1. With the door open, push on each hinge as shown to disengage them and lift the door
away.

2. Set the system down with the power button on the bottom left as shown in Figure 2-2.
3. Place the front door in a secure location in case you wish to use the system in its tower
configuration at some other time.
Locking Your System
Your VAX 4000 Model 108 system may be locked and/or secured to a desk or table using
a lockdown hasp. Follow these instructions to expose and install the hasp.
