HSD10 Operation

HSD10 DSSI-to-SCSI Bus Adapter Introduction

This chapter presents a basic description of the HSD10 DSSI-to-SCSI bus adapter's
features, performance, operating environment, and controls and indicators. It also presents
configuration information for the HSD10 DSSI-to-SCSI bus adapter.

The HSD10 DSSI-to-SCSI bus adapter is used to connect a Digital host system's Digital
Storage Subsystem Interconnect (DSSI) bus to up to seven small computer system
interface (SCSI) drives. Figure 4-1 shows the HSD10 and its switches and LEDs.
