Single Channel SCSI and RAID Configuration

To connect SCSI devices to a single channel SCSI and RAID host adapter, perform the following:

1) Connect the cables as shown in Figure 3 - 22. If necessary, connect appropriate power cable to

device.

2) Replace and lock side panels.
3) Connect external devices and restore power.
4) Run SCU and the SCSI configuration utility to configure the server

. Refer to the SCSI and RAID

documentation for additional configuration information.

NOTE

Server’s with this configuration are shipped with an additional terminator and a two
connector cable to enable you to split the storage backplane.
