Removing the Fan
To remove the fan:
1) Turn off the server, disconnect external devices, ac power, and monitor power.
2) Unlock and remove the right side panel.
3) Disconnect the fan’s power cable from the 15-pin mating connector on the power harness.
4) Remove the four Phillips-head screws that secure the cooling fan assembly on the back of the server .
5) Remove the fan and metal bracket from the server.
