2.6 Unoading a Compact Disc
1.
Turn off the power to the drive.
2.
Insert a steel rod, about 1.2 millimeters in diameter and 35 millimeters or
1.37 inches long, and push into the emergency eject hole at the lower right
of the front panel (Figure 2–12). The rod can be made by straightening a
large paper clip.

2.7 Connecting the System to a Network
After you verify that the InfoServer system passes its power-up self-test
sequence, you must connect the InfoServer system to the network to make
the system available to client systems. To connect the InfoServer system to a
network, follow these steps:
1.
Turn the system unit’s
l O
power switch off (O).
2.
Read Chapter 4 to learn how to install your network hardware.
3.
After making the network connection, turn the system unit’s
l O
switch
back on. The server should pass the power-up self-test and reboot
successfully.

Refer to the InfoServer System Operations Guide for information on how to
establish a server management session to set up and control the server.
