2.2 Unpacking the System
Open the container. Remove the box and the accessory tray. The box contains
the system unit. The accessory tray contains the following:

Customer Hardware Information Kit
•
OpenVMS Factory Installed Software User Guide
• Software licenses
• Power cord
• Other accessories
Expansion boxes, if ordered, are supplied in separate containers.
Depending on the system configuration, the contents of the container may
differ from the items shown in Figure 2–2. When unpacking the system, do the
following:
1. Check the contents of the container against the packing slip.
2. Store the unused parts for future use. Depending on how you set up the
system, you may not use all the components supplied with the system.
