The following conventions are used in this manual:

indicates the generic use of a letter. For

Italic type emphasizes important information, indicates variables,
and indicates the complete titles of manuals.

A space character separates groups of 3 digits in numerals with 5 or
more digits. For example,

A period in numerals signals the decimal point indicator. For
example,

one and three-fourths

Note
A note contains information of special importance to the reader.
Caution
A caution contains information to prevent damage to the equipment.
