System Module Locations
Accessing the
Card Cages To access the card cages, remove the system door and cover as
described previously.
Caution
Do not remove the cover when the system is running. If
you do, the system will power down and you may lose
data.
Before removing the system cover:
1. Perform an orderly shutdown of the operating
system.
2. Turn off DC power by pressing the DC On/Off button
to the (O) position.
3. Unplug the AC power cord for each power supply.
The locations of the system modules and slots are shown in
Figure 2–6 and identified in the numbered callouts.
