8.2.1 Recording modes
Settings wich determines whether recording is to occur continously,
by motion detection, via contact or sensor.
Continuous = non-stop recording
Contact = recording when contact is triggered
(camerabased contacts)
Picture Comparison = recording upon change in picture
Sensor = sensor card-triggered recording (DVS
600 only)
The recording mode is identified by a camera symbol with a colored
background in the Camera Settings dialog.
Green = recording by motion detection
Yellow = contact or sensor-triggered recording
Red = continuous recording
IMPORTANT
Accident Prevention Regulation for Banks -
system parameter Bank!
With the system parameter Bank, the standard
track is referred to as the Bank Holdup track (also
see Chap. Track settings).
In accordance with the Accident Prevention Re-
gulations for Banks, the recording on the bank
holdup track must take place continuously.

If desired, check the Use Camera Timer checkbox to define the
recording times for each camera.

Click on Camera Timer.
The dialog for defining the recording times will be displayed (see
section Setting camera timer).
8.2.2 Motion detection/sensitivity
If Motion Detection was selected in the
Recording Mode field, the sensitivity of the
motion detection can be set here. The
sensitivity can be set to 5 different levels.
