Serial No. Test
For security purposes, the serial number of the hard disk used
should be checked after it is changed, especially with removable
hard disks and several recording systems.
If this risk can be excluded when the hard disks are changed, the
Serial No. Test should be deactivated.
This prevents hard disks of different sizes from no longer matching
the configuration of your DMS/DLS, for example (number of pictures
- required storage space).
To ensure proper functioning of your DMS/DLS, settings in the
Harddisk Management dialog should only be made by trained
professionals.

NOTE
If your system has been installed and configured
as a raid system at the factory, several differences
to the "normal system“ should be noted:

The individual hard disks do not appear in the
list. The total capacity is nevertheless displayed.
z
BAK can only be set for CD-R/RW.
z
The designation RAID appears at the top of
the dialog.
