17.7.3 Activating the card reader

Click Serial in the Interfaces input/output dialog selection.

Select the interface to which
the card reader is connected
(A).
¾
Then select the Card reader
(for VGA GUI) function (B).
¾
Click OK.
If the port has been assigned the Card reader (for VGA GUI)
function and the Serial interfaces dialog has been exited by clicking
on OK, you can only access your DMS/DLS if you have a valid
card.
17.7.4 Reading out card data
To make changes to the card data, the current data should be read
out.
Insert an empty and formatted floppy disk into the drive of the
DMS/DLS or a USB stick into an available USB port.

Select the corresponding storage medium in the Card Reader
dialog.
¾
Click Export.
NOTE
Only the manufacturer can change the card data.
