4 Video outputs M1 and M2
The BNC outputs M1 and M2 are pure CVBS outputs for one
video monitor each. Both outputs are connected in parallel at
the factory. The function of video output M2 can be set in the
Sequencer dialog.
NOTE
Video outputs M1 and M2 do not display menus
when the USB mouse is used.
5 Temperature sensor for ambient temperature
To increase system safety, the ambient temperature of the
system is measured.
The temperature is shown on the display on the front of the
system.
6 Eject button
For service purposes, the entire connection panel (shown with
gray background in diagram) can be removed. The connections
to cameras, monitors and the contacts IN and OUT need not
be individually disconnected.
7 Splitter card MCD 25
This card is already installed in the DLS 24 S1. With all other
systems, it is available as an option.
You can connect either a VGA monitor (7/1), an FS unit with
S-VHS input (7/2) or a video monitor (7/3) to the splitter card.
A combination of several monitors is not possible.
In addition to the splitter card, the DMS/DLS offers additional
points of attachment for other options (e.g. ISDN or SCSI).
8 PS/2 mouse connection
A PS/2 mouse is required if you operate your system via a
video monitor. The menus for playback and setup are presented
on the video monitor (video outputs M1/M2).
