, item 1) with the non-return
valve and an external manometer
(8)
(on the building side) to the
KFE cock (
Fig. 9-1
, item 2) and secure it against slipping off with
a hose clamp.
2
Make sure that the automatic vent valve cap is open (
Fig. 9-2
,

1
Open the water tap (
Fig. 9-1
, item 6) on the feed pipe.
2
Open the KFE cock (
Fig. 9-1
, item 2) and observe the pressure
gauge (
Fig. 9-1
, item 8).
3
Fill the system with water until the pressure gauge shows that
the system target pressure is reached (
system 2 m
,
1 m water column corresponds to 0.1 bar).
The overpressure
valve must not actuate!
4
Close the KFE cock (
Fig. 9-1
, item 2).
5
Close the water tap (
Fig. 9-1
, item 6) on the feed pipe.
6
Disconnect the filling hose (
Fig. 9-1
, item 1) with non-return
valve from the KFE cock (
Fig. 9-1
, item 2).
9.2.2
Checking the connections and pipes
WARNING
All work performed on live components must be carried out
in accordance with the proper procedures, otherwise there
may be a danger to the life and health of individuals and
the function of the A2 F may be impaired.
▪ Rectification of damage to live components of the A2 F
must only be carried out by heating engineers author-
ised and recognised by the energy supply company.
1
Remove the boiler cladding, see
Chap. 4.10
.
2
Check all oil and water-conducting components and connections
for leakage and damage. If damaged, determine the cause and
change the damaged parts.
3
Check the system pressure. If the pressure is too low, determine
and remedy the cause of the pressure loss. Refill the system ac-
cording to
Chap. 9.2.1
.
4
Check all components of the flue system for leakage and dam-
age. Repair any damaged parts or replace them.
5
Check all electrical components, connections, and pipes. Repair
any damaged parts.
Checking the MC-7 universal micro exchangeable filter insert
▪ Check the MC-7 universal micro exchangeable filter element in
the breather oil filter (use only paper filters with max. 25 μm) and
replace if necessary.
9.2.3
Cleaning the combustion chamber and
condensate siphon/condensate box
If there are impurities in the combustion chamber or unsatisfactory
combustion values are detected, the combustion chamber and
burner must be cleaned. If necessary, readjust the burner.
1
Remove the boiler cladding (see
Chap. 4.10
).
2
Lift out the burner (see
Chap. 7.4
) and place it next to the boiler
or hook the burner in the mounting bracket (accessory).
