▪ 5 seconds after the burner request, a flashing LED (flashing fre-
quency 1 - 2 Hz) signals readiness (power supply present, but no
flame).
▪ If a flame is detected, the LED switches from flashing to continu-
ous within one second.
INFORMATION
If the LED flickers during burner operation, inadequate
earthing of the burner is probable.
▪ Check the protection earthing.
▪ If the flame goes out, the LED is switched off for approx. 5 secs.
After the 5 seconds, the LED starts to flash again, thus indicating
readiness for flame monitoring.

Oil burner pump and oil filter
The oil burner pump is a self-suctioning gear pump which is connec-
ted as a two-strand pump through a venting oil filter. Suction filters
and oil pressure controllers are integrated in the pump.
INFORMATION
To protect the oil pump, use the
MC-7
micro exchangeable
filter insert. Only use paper filters of maximum 25 µm.

Oil is suctioned from the intake manifold (S) through the filter (H) to
the gear set, where the pressure is increased. When voltage is ap-
plied to the NC valve, it opens and allows oil to flow to the nozzle
connection. The pressure transducer (PT) registers the achieved
pressure and the oil pump control unit regulates the engine speed in
conjunction with the oil/air control unit. The integrated pressure lim-
iter prevents the generation of overpressure. The factory setting is
30 bar.
