(g) Remove the screws holding the lower cowl to the fuselage.
(h) Disconnect the induction tubing.
(i) Carefully remove the lower cowl.
(2) INSPECTION
(a) Inspect the cowl for loose rivets, wear points and cracking.

(3) INSTALLATION
(a) Carefully position the lower cowl in place; secure the cowl to the fuselage with
screws.
(b) Carefully position the upper cowl in place; secure it to the lower cowl and to the
fuselage with screws.
(c) Make sure the baffle seal is properly formed against the cowling, baffle seal
should face forward.
(d) Double check to make sure all the hardware is tight.
(e) Reinstall the induction tubing, ensure hose clamps are tight.
(f) Carefully position the lower access panel in place. Secure the lower access
panel to the lower cowl with screws.
(g) Verify there is clearance between the cowl and prop spinner.
(h) Reinstall inlet rings to lower and upper cowl.
