CAUTION
Do not jack the aircraft outside or in an open hangar with winds in excess of 10 knots.
NOTE
Raise airplane no more than required for the maintenance being performed
(2) RAISING THE TAIL
(a)
Set the parking brakes and place chocks under main wheels.
(b)
Grab under the empennage and raise the airplane to place a tripod or saw horse
under the tall wheel springs, as indicated in Figure 6.3.2.1.
