1 GENERAL
The engine cowl is made in two pieces and can be removed without the propeller being
removed. The upper and lower portions are made of composites, using fire-resistant resins.
1.1. ENGINE

(1) COWL REMOVAL
(a) Remove screws along lower access panel (10 qty). Be sure hold on to the air
filter so it does not fall to the ground.
(b) Disconnect the induction tube.
(c) Carefully remove the lower access panel with the air filter.
(d) Remove the screws holding the inlet rings to the upper and lower cowl. Remove
inlet rings from cowl.
(e) Remove the screws holding the upper cowl to the lower cowl and the fuselage.
(f) Carefully remove the upper cowl.
