5 (sec)
10 (sec)
<Operation>
1) Close both the MASTER-side and the WORK-side stop valves.
2) Check that the test pressure is proper.
Generally, Test pressure for the No-Leak test is the same as the actual leak test.
3) Press the MAN/REM key to invoke enter mode.
4) Press the SHIFT key and the CAL./COMP. key to enter calibration mode.
5) Press the RIGHT
►
key twice to display
tSt
on the leak rate indicator.
6) Press the START key.
A leak test is run with the fixed timers.
7) Press the STOP key to return to Measurement mode and the MAN/REM key to return to remote.
8) Open both the MASTER-side and the WORK-side stop valves.
<Judgement>
Display of the test result
Measured leak rate is displayed in volumetric unit, Pa, and held on the HI and LO leak limit indicators. No
judgement is made.
The leak tester judges tester is no leak condition if the reading is within a range of ±10 Pa.

When the No-Leak test result exceeds ±10 Pa, the cause of tester malfunction is pneumatic fault or electrical
fault.
To find out the possible cause, perform another No-Leak test without applying air pressure under the
following two conditions:
a) Unplug the sealing plugs from both the WORK CAL. PORT and the MS PORT-side LEAK CAL. ports on
the front panel of the tester to leave them open to the atmospheric pressure.
→
If reading exceeds ±10 Pa, the cause of the tester malfunction may be electrical fault or DPS
contamination with water and/or oil.
b) Put the sealing plugs back to both ports and open both the WORK and the MASTER-side stop valves
on the rear panel of the tester. The master and the tested part should be connected.
→
The cause of the tester malfunction may be deformation of sealing fixture or temperature
effect.
<Operation>
1) Adjust the regulator to reduce the test pressure to zero (atmospheric pressure).
2) Press the MAN/REM key to enter manual mode.
3) Press the SHIFT key and the CAL./COMP. key to enter calibration mode.
4) Press the RIGHT
►
key three times to display
tnP
on the leak rate indicator.
5) Press the START key.
A leak test is run with the fixed timers.
