COMPENSATION MODE (MASTER-PRESET)
Mode to sample Master-Preset values and turn compensation ON and OFF.
Master-Preset values can be entered by:
•
Sampling through keyboard operation (See Section 8.1.2
•
Sampling through external signal input automatically in Measurement mode
•
Manual input of the Master-Preset value
While the tester is in Measurement mode, press the CAL./COMP. key to enter Compensation mode.
Master-Preset values are backed up when the unit is turned off. (See Section 4.1.

8.1.1 Preparation
1) Prepare a known non-leaking actual part.
2) Use a known non-leaking part or standard Master Chamber for a master
3) Set a test pressure and a test pressure upper limit and a lower limit.
4) Unlock the keyboard
Press RIGHT

UP simultaneously for 1 second or longer
5) Turn the Master-Preset compensation ON
Press the CAL./COMP. key.

displayed on the leak rate indicator. The
Master-Preset value will be displayed on the HI limit
indicator, and the COMP. LED blinks at the same time.
Press the ENTER key.

UP key to turn
ON the compensation.
6) Set Stabilization (STB) timer for Master-Preset
STB timer is same as CHG timer. STB is automatically set when CHG is set. However STB timer
can be manually altered after CHG timer is set as following procedure:
Press the STOP key to return to Measurement mode.
Press the SHIFT key then TIME/LIMIT key.

key to switch the stage to be setup. A timer setting will be displayed
on both HI and LO leak limit indicators.
Set the STB timer by pressing

UP and/or DOWN

key, then press the ENTER key.
Press the DOWN

key to turn OFF the
compensation feature.
