7.13.1 Viewing
During the MASTER-side leak rate limit setting, LO NO GO LED blinks, and during the WORK-side leak rate
limit setting, H -NO GO LED blinks.
<Operation>
1) Press the TIME/LIMIT key.
bAL
appears on the leak rate indicator, and the LO NO GO LED blinks, with the setting value appearing
on the
LO
limit indicator.

key or the ENTER key is
pressed:

3) During the WORK-side leak rate limit setting, HI NO GO LED blinks, with the setting value appearing on
the
HI
leak limit indicator.
7.13.2 Entry
If the keyboard is unlocked, the least significant digit of the display blinks, indicating that it can be changed.
<Operation>
1) Use the
▲
UP or DOWN
▼
key to change the setting.
The value on
HI
limit indicator is positive and on LO limit indicator is negative. Pressing the
▲
UP key
increments and DOWN
▼
key decrements the value.
2) Press the SHIFT key to move the current setting digit to left. Pressing it for 1 second or longer
reverses the polarity.
3) After setting has been changed, the
◄
LEFT and RIGHT
►
keys become inoperable until the ENTER
key is pressed. Press the ENTER key to complete the setting, or press the STOP key to cancel it, after
that tester returns to Measurement mode.
7.13.3 Limit setting with NR (Noise Reduction) is activated
When HI and LO leak limits are set, those limits plus their 10 % are automatically set as Noise Reduction
limits. If HI and LO leak limits are +100 Pa and -100 Pa, for instance, the Noise Reduction limits will be
+110 Pa and -110 Pa.
The added ratio can be changed every 10% within a range of 10 to 90 %
7.13.4 Two-level limit setting
This tester permits setting a small leak rate limit, Hi-NG, and a large leak rate limit HH-NG for WORK-side,
and Lo-NG and LL-NG for MASTER-side. These limits can be used for wide variety of applications such as
sorting tested part by the magnitude of leakage. There are I/O terminals for HH and LL.
Setting procedure of Two-level limit is same as Noise Reduction (NR) except setting the number of iteration
to zero. See section
Since the limit on LO limit indicator negative value, pressing the
▲
UP key
decreases its absolute value and pressing the DOWN
▼
key increases it.
