2 FEATURES
2.1 Description of the machine
MoonWalk
dispensing equipment for the car refinishing industry
is a device to semi-automatically dispense toners into mixing cups
whose size is specified in this manual, to produce refinish paints of the
desired hue, chosen by means of the machine management software
PaintManager .
The machine dispenses the formula corresponding to the color
required and weighs, in gravimetric mode, the amounts of products
that make up the formula.
The machine consists of:
1. Main ON/OFF switch.
2. Electrical box and control devices.
3. Machine electronics ON/OFF switch.
4. Off-line button.
5. Toner pumping group upper storage rack.
6. Peripheral devices (label printer, spectrophotometer).
7. Toner pumping group working area.
8. Operator touchscreen panel.
9. Motor-driven carriage with scale.
10. Toner pumping group side storage rack.
11. Toner pumping group lower storage rack.
The machine can be assembled in different configurations, with the
side storage module mounted on the left or on the right, in line or in a
corner setup.
The machine part included in the dotted square is defined as the
working area.
Machine operation is handled by the
PaintManager management
software and MoonWalk dispensing software installed on the operator
touchscreen panel.
The operator manually positions the pumping groups required to
dispense a formula.
