The brake circuits are optically isolated from

This diagram shows the
connections to the drive that
share a common ground in
the driver. If the brake 24V
power supply is separate
from the DC supply powering
the drive, it is important
that it connects to an earth
or common grounding point
with the hV power supply.

There should be only one
conductor in each position of the
J5 connector. If brakes are to be
wired directly to J5 for their 24V
power, use a double wire ferrule
for J5-4. Information for ferrules
